Two of the tools we reach for are ours. We built them because we wanted them and could not buy them in the shape we needed. They are the plainest evidence on the site that we write software, so we put them next to the services that use them rather than in a catalogue of their own.
CertPilot
LiveA certification-readiness platform with two kinds of user. Individual learners use it to prepare for certification exams. Organisations use it as their own training and examination panel, with their own courses and their own candidates. We host and maintain the platform; the content and the cohort stay yours.
It is the training and competence layer of a policy and procedure engagement. When we write your procedures, your panel on CertPilot is where your own people learn them and prove they have, so an attestation is a pass mark and a record rather than a signature on a sheet.
What it does
- Timed mock exams built by subject-matter experts.
- Certification paths, so a candidate has an order to work in.
- Domain-level analytics, so you can see which topic a cohort keeps failing rather than only the headline pass rate.
- Controlled answer review, token-based access, and admin reporting.
OT Asset Simulator
In developmentA web-based industrial protocol simulator. You create virtual OT assets and operate them from a browser, with no physical hardware anywhere. There is a REST API behind the UI and a set of background runtime managers driving the simulation.
It is a safe target: a place to prove out a SCADA integration, reproduce a fault off-site before touching the real device, rehearse a maintenance window, or give a security tool something to look at that is not a production line.
It is a preview and we are not pretending otherwise.
How it behaves
- Analog points drift the way real instruments drift; digital points change state on probability rather than a fixed script.
- Manual override always beats the simulation loop, so you can pin a value and watch what happens downstream.
- Alarm detection on analog assets with high and low limits, active alarm tracking, and an event history you can go back through.
- Role-based access (admin, read/write, read-only), plus audit and event logs and a security settings page.
- SQLite for persistence, so an instance is a file you can copy.
