We are a small security and network engineering company in Ottawa. Cybersecurity is the main work, assessment, penetration testing and standards, across IT and OT alike: corporate networks and datacentres, identity and cloud, and the control rooms, substations and security head-ends they touch. We also design, maintain and supply the networks we defend, and we write down what we did so the estate we leave behind can be read.

The name
Arta means truth, and right order.
Arta is Old Persian for truth and right order; the Avestan form of the same idea is asha, and its opposite is druj, the lie. We kept the name because integrity is the I in the CIA triad, and nearly every attack is a lie told to a machine: a spoofed certificate, a forged identity, a setpoint that is not what the operator believes it is.
The three wedges in the mark stand for the code the word belongs to, good thoughts, good words and good deeds, converging on one point.
